Camberwell College of Arts Summer Show Identity
The development of the Camberwell College of Arts Summer Show Identity began with myself instigating a group collaborative project involving third year BA Graphic Design students. I initially developed a grid that was handed to the year. My instructions were to join 6 dots and 12 dots relying on the grid provided. I then collected each line generated by each individual and concluded that the collection of line drawings were a direct representation of the class as a whole. The line drawings gathered from the participatory activity were then developed into the Show's display typeface present in the identity's promotional material and exhibition space signage. After I developed the initial concept for the show identity, Myself, Katy Everett and Jack Harness worked along side Eva Kellenberger and Sebastian White from http://kellenberger-white.com/ to develop the concept into visual material that would represent the course. This included Posters, signage, website and a catalogue.
